Marilyn Kay writes dark, gutsy crime fiction rooted in contemporary themes.
Although a long-time lover of murder mysteries, she came to writing them only after a career in corporate communications and social media consulting.
Her own brush with serious illness made her realize, it was now or never if she was going to fulfill her dream of being an author.
Since then she has published short stories in three crime fiction anthologies and is writing her first crime novel.
Marilyn is a professional member of Crime Writers of Canada and Sisters in Crime.
